The holiday season is among us. What a perfect time to highlight the importance of makeing a positive impact on the lives of others. MOD Pizza, known for its super-fast execution of pizza and salads, is making a difference by “Spreading MODness” in the communities they serve. This week MOD Pizza is teaming up with nearly 200 charities around the U.S. to support at-risk youth and those in need.
Mod Pizzas: Tristan, Caspian and Mad Dog
MOD’s annual Spreading MODness campaign, begins Tuesday, November 22 and runs through Sunday, November 27. Each MOD Pizza location is partnering with a different locally based organization for the week. I decided to visit my local, Summerwood MOD Pizza location. They’re Spreading MODness by supporting The Humble ISD Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports innovative education projects that improve student achievement in the Humble Independent School District.
One dollar from each pizza purchased will be donated, which was even more incentive for me to drop in. In partnership with MOD on such a great cause I was gifted a few FREE PIZZAS to give away!
We savored every bite of MOD’s three top selling pizzas:
- MAD DOG: Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Mild Sausage, Ground Beef and MOD red sauce.
- LUCY SUNSHINE: Mozzarella, Artichoke, Parmesan, Garlic and Dollups of MOD red sauce.
- CALEXICO: Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Grilled Chicken, Jalapenos, Hot BBQ Sauce and MOD red sauce.
The Calexico was my favorite! The helping of Hot BBQ sauce makes this pie quite spicy. If you can’t take the heat, go with the “Mad Dog.” It’s a savory meat party.
