If you’re looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal my Korean BBQ Beef Bowl recipe perfect. Personally, the last thing I want to do after a long day at the office is slave over a hot stove. I’d much rather send that precious time playing with my 15 month old daughter and husband. Who by the way, also love this recipe. The simplicity of this recipe is why I love it. It literally takes less than 15 minutes to make and you can make the Korean BBQ sauce in advance, cutting the prep time in half.
Traditional Korean BBQ (Bulgogi) is made with cuts of top sirloin. This budget-friendly recipe is made with grass fed beef from Butcher Box. I recently reviewed the monthly subscription meat service and whipped up this recipe using their grass-fed ground beef. The meat from Butcher Box is of the highest quality, so I am certain that added to the overall flavor of this dish. If you’re interested in learning more about Butcher Box click here.
Before Emory was born my husband would eat out all the time. Since then I can count on one hand the number of times we’ve eaten outside of our home. As a new mom I feel like it’s my responsibility to create a sense of family. Now that she’s older, and feeding herself, family dinner has become our favorite time of day.
Sitting across from Emory while she stuffs her face with tiny bits of food brings us so much joy. Preparing quick, simple and healthy meals for her are my top priorities.
Hopefully you will enjoy this Korean BBQ Beef Bowl recipe and add it to your families weeknight meal rotation.
